With Earth Stellar, the renowned glass artist Bertil Vallien has created a miniature world in glass inspired by our place on the planet. The object in clear glass has a small house, hand-painted with real 21 karat gold, at the top. Earth Stellar is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden and is part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection.

Contrast from Kosta Boda is made using a technique called centrifuging. This technique creates veils of color within the glass, and vibrant glass canes are added during the process, making each product unique. It's all about the contrasts!
