The Crackle Bowl is inspired by frozen ice that has just cracked. The design influence is from the convergence of hotglass and cold water that creates a crackled finish. The designer wanted to create a surfacereminiscent of frozen, crusted ice. A crunchy, crackling feel. The techniqueis old, but the designer uses it in her own personal way. The Crackle series is hand made mouthblownin Kosta, Sweden by Desinger Åsa Jungnelius. It takes 12 artisan to create one piece. Ideal for functional bowl for fruit, bowl, and stand alone art piece.

The Rocky Baroque Candlestick is between sculpture and utility object. Monumental contours meet raw, jagged surfaces and vibrant colors make this candlestick different by design. Designed in Sweden by artist Hanna Hansdotter and handmade in Kosta Sweden. Available in limited edition of 500 pieces.

Kjell has a penchant for designing challenging models and has a great respect for the glassblowers of Småland. Organic free forms fire the imagination. Colorful, playful and filled with bubbles. "The poppy flower is associated with Demeter - the Greek goddess of fertility and harvest. My inspiration comes from a poppy that just is opening... The colors symbolize the different color schemes of daylight, rain, frost and sun. The amazing shape with its unevenness and texture was somewhat of a challenge to make in glass"
