How does a particular design come about? The inspiration for this 14 1/4" vase originated in the designer's love of music, the long necks of the bottles reminiscent of organ pipes. The colors were inspired by shimmering rainbows. Hand made and mouth blown in Sweden.

The Crackle Bowl is inspired by frozen ice that has just cracked. The design influence is from the convergence of hotglass and cold water that creates a crackled finish. The designer wanted to create a surfacereminiscent of frozen, crusted ice. A crunchy, crackling feel. The techniqueis old, but the designer uses it in her own personal way.
