Kosta Boda

Drifter expresses simplicity and space with an encased figure in copper that flows freely in the boat. It is Bertil Vallien's latest formof boats including a black and white glass spiral to which he often returns. Drifter has a glass base that makes it stand firmly withoutadditional support.

Bertil Villain Brains Everything is Better When we Dance, L 1.77 x H 2.95 x W 2.17 inches is a Collector's item. Beril Villain created Brains as "an anti-stress object for the hand and the eye. To place at the desk, have it next to the bed and to bring along when traveling." The Brain is launched as "seeds of thoughts" or messages. Handmade and mouth-blown in Kosta, Sweden. A new member of the Brains family, decorative collector's items intended for wall mounting with the included stainless steel clamp. Shaped by hand in the hot shop, then cut and polished. "Look In" has a cut-glass "window" which invites the viewer to look in. "Look" has paint and silver leaf applied to the finished head. The white thread is spun on the inner feature and then heavily fire polished. The stripes represent meandering lines of thought.
