Kjell has a penchant for designing challenging models and has a great respect for the glassblowers of Småland. Organic free forms fire the imagination. Colorful, playful and filled with bubbles. "The poppy flower is associated with Demeter - the Greek goddess of fertility and harvest. My inspiration comes from a poppy that just is opening... The colors symbolize the different color schemes of daylight, rain, frost and sun. The amazing shape with its unevenness and texture was somewhat of a challenge to make in glass"

The Rocky Baroque Candlestick is between sculpture and utility object. Monumental contours meet raw, jagged surfaces and vibrant colors make this candlestick different by design. Designed in Sweden by artist Hanna Hansdotter and handmade in Kosta Sweden. Available in limited edition of 500 pieces.

With Earth Midnight, the renowned glass artist Bertil Vallien has created a miniature world inspired by our place on the planet. The object in clear glass is colored dark blue and has a small house, hand-painted with real 21 karat gold, at the top. Earth Midnight is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden and is part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection. Functional for desk accessory and stand alone art glass.
