Kosta Boda

With Earth Stellar, the renowned glass artist Bertil Vallien has created a miniature world in glass inspired by our place on the planet. The object in clear glass has a small house, hand-painted with real 21 karat gold, at the top. Earth Stellar is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden and is part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection.

Artist Kjell Engman has added to his collection of bath ladies, we now have a guardian angel called Golden Angel in thesame plump shape. The angel is punty pressed at Kosta Glassworks. The blasted wingsare added on and the body is painted with 24 karat gold standing strong on a glass foundation. Handmade and mouth-blown in Kosta, Sweden it's a thoughtful gift to someone special.

The Elvis Presley Guitar Graceland Bronze has a classic shape and a coloration hinting at burgundy and dark wood, this guitar celebrates the 65th Anniversary of Elvis purchasing Graceland (March 25, 1957). Beans art glass was designed by Bertil Vallien for home decor. "I love to work with a theme. Glass offers possibilities that no other material can. It's like the outpouring from a volcano where the glowing mass is rapidly transformed into ice. Red Rim, Designed by Bertil Vallien, is hand-made in several steps. First, the first parison of crystal is rolled in powdered color. The color is then heated before the parison is blown into a shape that gives the molten glass its optical pattern. Clear glass is gathered over the parison to enclose the optical pattern in the glass, and then the glass is blown into its final form and shaped into a bowl or a vase. Finally, the piece is attached to a glass-blowing pipe and blown up a touch more before the red rim is applied from a color rod.
